Our Board of directors.



Dr. Randell Espina



President



Dr. Randell Espina is an Electronics and Electrical Engineer with a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering. He is a full-fledged professor and currently the Dean of the School of Engineering and Architecture of the Ateneo de Davao University. He is the lead researcher on renewable energy technologies at the University.



Engr. Ruben Salvador, Jr.



Internal Vice President



Ruben is a licensed Chemical Engineer and currently an instructor in Ateneo de Davao University. He also has a Masters degree in Energy Engineering. He is currently working on various research interests with community-based applications.



Engr. Jason Occidental



External Vice President



Jason has a Master of Business and Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is the Director of Innovation and Technology Support at Ateneo de Davao University and also managing and consulting startups in the field of healthcare and cybersecurity.



Ms. Lilibeth Diane Yu



Secretary



A graduate of Electronics and Communications Engineering and currently, a research assistant in Ateneo de Davao University, Lilibeth aims to contribute to environmental protection through renewable energy projects. Her goal is to use her skills in technology to provide less fortunate communities with their basic necessities without compromising the health of our natural resources.



Engr. Eduardo Descalsota, Jr.



Treasurer



Ed has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Engineering. He has been a member of the Engineering faculty for more than 20 years and currently, he is designated as the Project Leader of the Technopreneurship Hub for Southern Mindanao and as the Technohub Manager of Ateneo de Davao University.



Engr. Ryutaro Yamamoto



Auditor



Ryu’s interest in renewable energy has paved way in reaching the lives of people in remote areas. He currently works in Ateneo de Davao University as faculty member. His knowledge in Computer Engineering and renewable energy has enabled him to contribute in nation building and serve other people beyond borders.



Engr. Maria Leah Flor de Castro



Public Relations Officer



Leah is a Chemical and Environmental Engineer from Davao City, Philippines. She is a recipient of the Miguel R. Magalang Climate Leadership Award for her work in advocating climate action, and of the BPI-DOST Science Awards Most Outstanding Alumnus for her dedication to science, technology, and research.



Mrs. Agnes Wark



Adviser



Born and nurtured in Davao City, Philippines with a heart to serve those in need, Agnes currently lives in USA with husband Jim Wark. She gives back beyond borders by applying her knowledge in chemical and environmental engineering and project management. Her passion is mentoring the vibrant team at EWB-PH remotely.
